Hi, I'm Sid

I’m the founder of Lemondrop – a Brooklyn-based lifestyle brand specializing in knitwear and recycled quilted pieces for pets and their people. In spring of 2022, after falling captive to my new miniature dachshund puppy, Lemon, I started hand-knitting and sewing outfits by the dozen to fit her hot-dog-shaped body. Lemondrop aims to outfit pets and humans alike in handmade, sustainably sourced, and one of one pieces. 

 

When I’m not creating pieces for Lemondrop or working my day job as an Interior Designer, you can find me at local art or comedy shows, collaging, or consuming frozen yogurt at a rate that would make you think it’s 2010.

 

A note on sustainability:

 

Each quilted piece is made of cutter quilts, scraps, and deadstock fabrics sourced from around the country in an effort to reduce textile waste. No two creations are the same meaning you get a unique (and sometimes imperfect) piece every time; That’s the beauty of handmade, upcycled items! All fibers are natural and locally sourced, and each piece is knit by hand in Sid’s Brooklyn studio.
